2023 GUITAR MESSENGER SOLO CONTEST
Welcome to the 2023 Scar Guitar Contest! This is our second contest following the 2013 Guitar Messenger Solo Competition celebrating the release of the Scar Guitar DVD. This time we celebrate the 10-Year Anniversary Digital Remaster of the Scar Guitar course with a brand new contest! We are proud to present our sponsors for this contest:
ENTER THE CONTEST
1. Click HERE to download three backing tracks, all taken from Scar Symmetry's new album The Singularity (Phase II - Xenotaph)!
2. Pick one of the tracks and record a video of yourself soloing over it. You may improvise your solo on the spot or carefully compose it. Please note that ALL INSTRUMENTS ARE ELIGIBLE to enter the contest!
3. Upload the video to Instagram on or before July 18th. Include the hashtags #scarguitar2023 #guitarmessenger #scarsymmetry #xenotaph.
4. Submit your entry via the form below.
Per Nilsson & the Guitar Messenger team will review all entries after the contest closes on July 18th. EXTENDED TO JULY 25th!
